I know this is not the most appealing subject but we're scheduled to purchase our home in two weeks and from what I understand, we get to choose the garbage service we use. Being from South Florida, we are clueless. Down here the garbage is taken care of by the city and they just add the charge on our water bill monthly. So, what garbage service is good and reasonably priced? Thanks.

I am in easley and do not think they go that far but we use All waste. I pay 15.00/month. I actually found them by driving around and saw a trash can. They delivered that day. They pick up alot. They are similar to what we used in sw florida. Charges for large items and whites. Try asking your realtor they should be able to help too.

I found this in a previous post for Boiling springs and inman.

We use Budget Refuse 864-422-9490 for our trash service and it is $32.00 for 2 months. They give you the big can on wheels. You do not have to recycle, but if you want the county has drop off areas that collect recyclables. I don't think there is a difference weather you have elec or gas heat. I have two units in our house one upstairs that is elec and the main part of the house is gas. people say elec is cheaper to run here then gas.
