Any suggestions for Mother Day's brunch - would prefer to be in downtown Greenville.

Thanks

Default High Cotton.

We have been to High Cotton for the past two Mother's Days. They take reservations, service is always professional, atmosphere is delightful and the menu consistently delivers. It is refined enough to make the day feel special for your Mom, but relaxed enough to not be pretentious.

Feeling lucky? Ask for a table with a view of the water. Your Mom will privately note that you were always her favorite

Default Marriott

Just do not go to the Marriott. We had their Sunday brunch last week and it was awful. Very few choices of food. WWe have been to the Embassy few times and there is very good.

Well, I've made reservations at Soby's (Soby's New South Cuisine - Downtown Greenville, South Carolina) - their brunch/buffet menu for Mother's Day looks good - anybody had their brunch? will have 3 kids under 6 - is it kid friendly?

I went to Soby's brunch on Easter, and their Mother's Day brunch menu looks very similar (maybe even a little better). Most everything was very good and I definitely recommend the banana pudding (with chocolate from the chocolate fountain drizzled on top!) And I saw lots of children there enjoying the food; Soby's isn't a stuffy restaurant.

Went to Soby's last year (2009) and the buffet was great (delicious crab cakes) - but VERY crowded and a little warm inside.

Any suggestions for Mother's Day Brunch 2010?

We've been to Soby's in the past - great food but extremely crowded and L-O-N-G buffet lines.

Has anyone tried Mother's Day brunch at Embassy Suites?

Any updated suggestions for Mother's Day brunch 2012?

Vercitti's in the Hilton on Orchard Park has really good food. I've never been to the buffet if their other food is any indication I'm sure it's good.

We did brunch at the Lazy Goat 2 years ago. It wasn't kid friendly so it wasn't comfortable for me since our 3 1/2 year old was crawling all over ME...lol. Last year we did take out and had a picnic at home which was MUCH MORE relaxing for me as the mom.

We have gone to Embassy Suites for the past 2 Easters and are trying it for Mothers Day this year. I give it 2 thumbs up.
