Quick Question Regarding driving distances
How far in miles and how far to drive from the top of Greenville County to the bottom? Just trying to figure out the distance and also the driving to distance ratio. Thanks

I would guess around 40-45 miles; but mine is just a guess and someone will likely come along that knows for sure.

Driving:distance ratio would have a lot of variables depending on day of the week, time of day, route. When you say top and bottom of Greenville, give us starting and ending points.

If you took 25 from Marietta to Princeton, it would probably take about 80-90 minutes or so. 25 is the most logical road to take from Northern to Southern Greenville County, while Marietta and Princeton are pretty much the northern and southern most cities in Greenville County.
To answer your exact question, it's about 58 miles on a road, or 52 miles if you have wings (jk).

Roadpony Just to give you an idea, where I'm at miles pretty much equals minutes driving. I realized while down in SC last month that's not the case down there. So here's my best guess. Well not sure what city is at the top or the bottom of the county but let's try Traveler's Rest to Laurens. If that helps. Thanks for the help
ckeegan that works great. just trying to get a feel. I am looking at trying to get a job with Greenville County Schools and I know that I could end up anywhere in the county so it makes it hard to look at houses if I don't know how long it takes to get from one end to the other. The hubby was wondering if it was possible to live on one end and work on the other end if we found our "dream" house.

It takes me about 35 minutes to get from Mauldin to Furman which is just below TR under excellent traffic conditions. It takes another 35 minutes to get from Mauldin to Laurens. Once you get to I-385 moving south is pretty rapid except it gets heavy during rush hour. Do a search on google maps. You can drag your route around and it is pretty accurate timewise.

This isn't north/south, but I live near Pelham Rd @ I-85. My horse is stabled on the north side of Travelers Rest (Hwy 414 @ Hwy 276) It is approx 21 miles and 45 minutes on a Sat morning.... if I don't stop at Dunkin' Donuts.

U.S. 25 doesn't go through or very near Marietta. It enters Greenville County at the NC/SC state line and travels all the way down to Princeton.
