Cool 2009 BMW Charity Pro-Am. May 14th-17th. "You can't miss it"

http://www.youcantmissit.com/

The BMW Charity Pro-Am is the only tournament on the Nationwide Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with Nationwide Tour professionals in a four-day better-ball competition over three courses. The tournment's three host courses are Bright's Creek Golf Club (Mill Spring, NC), The Carolina Country Club (Spartanburg, SC) and Thornblade Club (Greer, SC). Amateurs, celebrities and pros rotate between three courses on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the 14 lowest scoring pro-amateur/pro-celebrity teams advancing to play Sunday's final round at Thornblade* Club. Celebrities play once at each course on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Professional winner of the overall 72-hole event will take home $126,000 from the total purse of $700,000, which is one of the largest purses on the Nationwide Tour. Amateurs and celebrities compete for individual prizes and cash donations to the charity of their choice out of the beneficiaries selected by South Carolina Charities, Inc.

We hope you'll join us at the 2009 BMW Charity Pro-Am, May 14-17, and welcome your involvement in making a positive impact on the lives of so many.

Oogax3Girl is on a distinguished road
I have several friends who live in the CCC... but I've never attended this thing for myself. Sounds like it would be fun though?

I'll try my best to take some photos. I only work at the Thornblade course. The tournament has been scaled down a lot from last year. Less skyboxes and celebrities. I think the only hole that has skyboxes this year is the 18th. Last year, they were on least three holes if not more. I don't know how many holes have skyboxes on the other two courses. The economy is to blame of course.
