Default A Correction & Some Directions

First, a correction to my long rambling reply above for the general reading public: Salem's zip code is 29676, not 29672, which is the other Seneca zip.

LookingForHouses, Shadowood is easy to get to even though it doesn't show up on the mapping programs (like much of the Upstate!).

From Clemson, come West on 123 toward Seneca. As soon as you cross over the bridge to Oconee county, drive 1.5 miles. At the stop light, turn left (south) on Davis Creek Rd. Drive ~ 2 miles. Shadowood is on the right.

Or, go an additional mile further westbound on 123, turn left (south) on Wells Hwy (also at a light, Les Walden real estate is on that corner and he is the agent for Shadowood) and drive 1.5 miles to the flashing stop at Wells Hwy and Shiloh Rd. Turn left at the stop. Then turn left into Shadowood. (There are two entrances).

Which house are you looking at? The one with the wide front porch and the rain chains is sharp! The other that is for sale by Walden has a great look in the dining room (at least I think that is where I took this pic for future reference). There's also a resale in there and, of course, they will gladly build you a new one on one of those empty lots.

Happy hunting.

From Central PA myself :-)

Relocating to Clemson this December (my fiance is starting as new faculty at CU - I'll still be working for PSU), we are driving down this weekend to get a feel for the area. I'll post any information that might be of interest when I get back.
