I read somewhere that Trader Joe's was opening in Greenville this year, but I don't see any mention of it on the TJ website. Was that just a teasing rumor?

It is one of the stores scheduled for Magnolia Park, though Magnolia Park has been put on a slow track due to the current national economy. When Magnolia does open, Trader Joes should be there (if they don't find another space first). If they open at Magnolia Park, they will be just up the road from Whole Foods, which is in The Shops at The Point.

Magnolia Park seems to be a good location for Trader Joe's, but I wonder where else they are considering? Surely they have a backup plan, given the slow progression of the Magnolia Park project.

OMG, this would put the icing on the cake to moving to Greenville - I LOVE TRADER JOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll travel to Charlotte or Atlanta to go there, but to have one close by, THAT would be heaven!!!!!
