I believe it is 9.5%, a bit above the national average of 8.9, but not by much.
Greenville is doing far better than the state of SC as a whole....the states unemployment is 12.0 I believe.

Newest numbers released today: SC edged up to 11.5% in April from 11.4% in March. Greenville County is still at 9.5%. Regardless, the lines are very long at the local Greenville County One Stop office on Pendleton Street. Unfortunately, I can attest to this first-hand.
