So it looks like there isnt a "bottom" if prices continue to increase...unless things change, but change in real estate can happen anytime, anywhere, as it is cyclical.

Greer and Travelers Rest areas might be holding up better than Simpsonville, which I hear is overbuilt - atleast until the empty houses sell.

Simpsonville is far from overbuilt and is a very desirable area.

I like Simpsonville. Are there not a lot of empty houses there though?

I will agree with that Simpsonville for sure has a lot of houses that stand empty. That is one thing I never got why build so many. Get the ones you have filled up before building an entire subdivision just to sit half empty.

People want different areas of Simpsonville to live in and different styles of homes. That could be why.

Some people want to live in Five Forks, some want to live near Fairview Rd., some want to live in the middle of town, and some want to live in the sprawl down Georgia Rd. etc. There are also different styles of homes, price ranges, etc. Those homes will sell when the economy picks up.

Oh, I see. Hopefully the economy will pick up soon - I think it's mostly mental now.
