Default Car Shows in or Around Greenville?

In the city where I'm from, there used to be all kinds of little car shows. On Friday nights there was a classic car show in a shopping mall parking lot, on Tuesdays there was a muscle car show in the parking lot of Taco Bell, etc. Usually had a couple hundred people turn out.

Does anything like that go on here?

It's my understanding that the British car club had a show during the highland festival a couple of weeks ago. Maybe that will be an annual thing. There are some local events listed here, although you do have to look specifically for SC Car Shows & Cruise-In's And I also found this 2010 South Carolina International Auto Show - General Info

I'm sure others here will know more.

There is a very good car show in Brevard on July 4th. It is part of the street festival in that lovely little town. There is also an arts and crafts show on Main St. It starts at 9:00 in the morning and continues throughout the day. I have taken my family to this festival for the last several years. It's a fun way to spend a day, and it is normally a little cooler up there. For more info, go to www.brevardnc.org/fourthofjuly.php.

That's good to know. I have nothing to do that day. Can't travel as I have to work the day before and after, and no family here. The craft show sounds good!

The British car club is pretty cool. They also usually have a generous amount of space at the annual South Carolina Auto Show at Carolina First Center.

There used to be lots of car shows and cruise ins in Greenville Easley and Greer but I noticed around '91-92 they stopped having a lot of them. Not sure why cause they used to have good turnouts.
