Exclamation Serial killer on loose in Cherokee County.
There have been several shootings the last few days in Cherokee County. This is apparently the works of a serial killer. Be on the lookout and stay safe if you're in this area.

Are there any updates as to whether they are close to catching the killer? I plan on going to that area soon and I'm not sure now if i should go

No they still have not caught him. Nor have they said if they are close to catching him. Hopefully they will soon have family that live not to far away from that area.

Update: The serial killer has apparently been killed. He shot a cop this morning; they shot back and he died. There's supposed to be a press conference shortly.
