Default Greenville, SC vs Huntsville, AL

Can anyone from "data-land" who is familiar with both these cities shed some more detail on the differences. From what I see, they seem to be similar in many statistacal indicators. And, seem to be fantastic.

I would be interested in political, economical AND social differences and maybe equally important for me is climate differences. FYI, I am Mid 40's, conservative and raising a family. I prefer to be outdoors more than indoors.

Thank you

A Huntsville fan opened a poll and thread in the 'City vs. City' subforum several months ago, but the thread didn't offer much worthwhile comparison between the two cities. After reading the info in your original post, I would say that you definitely need to consider the Greenville area. Have you visited the Upstate yet? Another option you might want to consider researching is Chattanooga, TN.
