Default Car Title
Can anyone tell us how how to handle this situation....Our son and his wife are separated...the car is titled to both of them, but in Pennsylvania... How do we begin to have it titled to just him here in South Carolina? It has been agreed already that he gets the car, since we gave it to them years ago. Do we go and pay the property tax first? Please help.....Thanks so much

I would think she needs to sign over the title to just him. That would be the only way to title it in just his name. Then pay property taxes and then go to the dmv to title it.

I agree with Kkirch. You son needs to get this wife to sign her part of the car over to him before you can do anything here in S.C.
