Default Neighborhoods

Newcomers:
Thornblade
Cobblestone
Claremont
Cliffs Communities

Locals and Natives:
Chanticleer
McDaniel Ave./Crescent Ave.
Country Club
Paris Mountain

Probably the most expensive home for sale in the area is Les McCraw's estate in Chanticleer. Can't really be seen from the street but I would estimate at $5 million plus.

I'm surprised more people haven't answered Montebello. I think the "cheapest" home in the entire development is about $675k. with some homes worth close to 2 million. It's an absolutely gorgeous subdivision, but it's odd in that it's not surrounded by wealth as most high end developments are, Montebello is kind of in an middle to even lower middle class area and even the local shopping center Cherrydale is kinda on the moderate income scale. If Montebello was near Thornblade or that area it would probably be the most well known high end development in the Upstate for sure.

P.S. I also looove Cobblestone.

Hmmm, well, never mind then.

That's the penthouse at the top of the Poinsett Plaza building. Anyone got the money?

That link is for a much less expensive property. I tried it on exit too and got the same results. Here is the link from Realtor.com for that property:

104 S Main Street #1100, Greenville, SC, 29601 - MLS ID#1184222 - Condo/Townhome/Row Home/Co-Op real estate - REALTOR.com®

There is a beautiful home and 47 acres for sale off Jonesville Road, near Simpsonville for $3,950,000.

Other areas in and around Greenville County to find very expensive homes include Paris Mountain, Green Valley, Pelzer (mostly rural homes with land), and Gowensville-Landrum. Of couse there are numerous other places to find exclusive neighborhoods and expensive homes, but these obvious places hadn't been mentioned yet.

Sonrise, the most expensive one I could find in Motebello was the one for 699k.
A new condo came on the market today on Main St. for 2.4 mil. I would love to sell that!
