Thanks, yes that is it, maybe it is the location and the owner ( who has passed away ) used to work at the PETE's burger joint that was located next door.

Thanks again

Steaks are really good.
You are thinking of Logan's Roadhouse my 10-year old loves it.

I actually love Rafferty's for a reasonably priced good steak. It is located at the corner of Congaree and Halton.

Now, we're counting on you.
The Old German Schnitzel Haus in Hickory is a possibility. Sounds far? Not really. Check them out at Old German Schnitzel Haus

I just want to rave briefly abou how much I enjoy Liberty Grille, right behind the Greenville Drive Stadium. Their menu is fabulous, they even have a brunch menu on weekends. My favorite part: for how much food you get, it's really cheap. Where else can you get a pint of blue moon for $2?!

I echo your sentiment about Liberty Tap Room & Grill. Very nice place to eat and a great atmosphere!

Couple of weeks ago, we had a great breakfast at the Coach House in Simpsonville. Prices and service were good too. We are going to go back some evening for desserts -we were told that they were homemade and they looked positively sinful

Default Best Places to Eat in Greenville

Well, we have enjoyed the Overlook Grill during a vacation in May to Greenville, and then about 2 weeks ago on a house hunting trip. The food is good and the view is amazing! The first time we ate inside and that was nice, but we were blessed the 2nd time with a table overlooking the park. It was very beautiful. The people there are very nice and the prices are fair.
