Well this place is not in down town Greenville and it is not a fancy place. But if you want a place to go and you are older or like older music then I would try Country Earls Celebration Place. They have food and music on Friday and saturdays. And it is in Mauldin/Simpsonville next to brookwood church..

Peddler Steak House / Greenville Restaurants
Hey Ckeegan,
The place looks good and I had some previous coworkers mention it to me. A quick question though that I coudn't find the answer to in the link that you provided; is it a smoke free enviornment, cause I won't go to restaurants that allow smoking? This really stinks(no pun intended) because I miss out on some great places and they miss out on my business. Thanks

My wife, daughter, dad and I went to Handi today for their lunch buffet and all I can say is YUM! It's only $7.50 pp. Such a deal! All 4 Indian restaurants in this town are excellent. Once again, I can't say enough about how many great quality ethnic restaurants we have here in Greenville and the surrounding suburbs.

That is so great to hear! My husband loves Indian food (along with every other ethnic restaurant!)

I've never eaten at Handi, but i've heard from several people who have that it's the best indian restaurant they've ever eaten at.

There is a Middle Eastern Restaurant on Pleasantburg that I used to like when I had to work in Greenville on occasion. It was across from Greenville Tech.

Pita House. Decent food, surly owners and they serve the pita cold, not heated. One page back skyliner and I discussed it in a couple of threads.

Default pita house

Pita House is not that great. If in the mood for middle eastern food try Pomegranate in the west end. Its a little pricier but definitely worth it. Very good.

My parents ate there and really enjoyed it. The Pita House isn't bad IMO especially if you want something quick and cheap.
