Default Place to run near Haywood?

Are there any parks or neighborhoods good for running (3-5 miles) near Haywood or Roper Mtn? I'd even go into Greer a bit or back towards Simpsonville/Woodruff if necessary.

I just don't want to have to drive downtown to the park or all the way to Furman every time I want to run and I live in a small Apartment Complex, so I'd go crazy running laps here. TIA

There is a new public park called Legacy Park located in the Verdae development along Rocky Slope Road which is only a few minutes from Haywood and Roper Mountain Roads. It's a great place to run. Check it out: Features | Verdae

There's also a path at the Fluor company off of Woods Crossing Road near Haywood Mall. I know someone who walks her dog there all the time.

Fluor, Verdae, and CU-ICAR/Millennium Campus/The Point are all good places to run, if you aren't able to take advantage of the paths in and around downtown.
