I just made a call to one of my friends on city council. The trash was picked up by prisoners frist thing Monday morning. No extra cost to the city.
They are of the opinion that the majority of the trash was left by people who got to the park late for the concerts and just made parking spaces because there was no space left inside the park.
If the reunion comes to town next year there will be an effort made to acquire additional parking at some of the vacant lots and put out trash cans by the side of the road.
In other words this was a learning experiance.
As the thread starter on this one let me say that I never meant anything derogitory towards any group of people except litters. It costs us nothing as individuals to pick up after ourselves.
Lets see how the rock stock concert stacks up now just for comparison sake.
Have a great day everyone.
