Will the Easley area ever get a Costco serving a large Pickens / Anderson /northwest Greenville county area? Some businesses just define an area which can support such endeavors. What a compliment it would be for our community to have a retailer, such as Costco, at the new Town Center or near by.

Forgot to mention this:

A nationally chained pet store signed a lease to locate at Easley Town Center July 13th. Can't release the name yet though. Kohl's signed their lease on May 20th. Also, construction of Walmart officially began on July 19th.

Wal-mart is actually cheaper than Costco on most things, Rhodies, and you do not have to buy as much. Also, I hear Costco's Greenville store is nothing but a pale shadow of their stores out west where wine flows down the aisles and the parking lot is paved with gold.

Expect the new wal-mart to be a bit higher scale than the current stores. It will still be Wal-mart, but don't expect pallets of slim fast and coca-coler in the main aisle.

Should be something like (but probably larger than) the new Walmart on Pelham Rd near I-85 and The Parkway.

Default work in progress

Driving by today I see that some of the parking lot is done, trees being planted & utility companies hard at work.

One of the nicest Walmarts that I've ever been to. The one in N. Myrtle Beach is really nice too.
