Default Butcher, Produce, Barber in easley??

Ok so I was curious about a few things now that i've settled down in Easley, and we are here to stay, like it or not

I am looking for three things, as obviously stated in my topic, a local butcher and/or fresh seafood market, a Farmers Market and/or a good place to buy local & tasty cheap veggies and fruits, and a place a guy in his mid-late twenties can go without having to make an appointment two weeks ahead of time to get his hair cut right. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks everyone!

Oh and preferrably(although not necessarily) near in proximity to easley?? you guys are the best, I look forward to the replies!

I'm not sure if Sleasley has all of those. I am sure they have a few barber shops where you can just walk in (and probably where you would be laughed at for trying to make an appointment). I know Easley talked about expanding the downtown Saturday flea market, but I bet a few vendors sell produce now.

As for a butcher, New York Butcher Shoppe is incredible! Love them. Also recently found out they are based in Greenville.

New York Butcher Shoppe, neighborhood source for Angus Beef and specialty foods and sandwiches

Hi Noodles,

Go to Flat Rock Meats located at 1350-A Crestview Road, Easley 29642
They have the best filet ever and even guarantee it!! 855-5435. They sell all types of mean and hand cut it so you can call in your order and they will have it ready.

I use Yolanda at T's hair (beside Applebees). I have to have an appt. but since guys don't require as much pampering you may not need one. All of the stylists in there are good.

Fresh produce--Winslett's Produce. Leaving your house coming toward G'vlle. turn right in front of Walgreen's and Winslett's will be on your left beside a little convenience store.

Fresh seafood--you will have to go to Laurens Rd.

Two excellent local butcher shops in your vicinity are Anderson Butcher Shop on Powdersville Road (Easley) and The Chopping Block on S.C. 81 (Powdersville). I can recommend both places from first-hand experience.

For produce, I like Winslett's Produce on Powdersville Road, near Ingles. They even carry Martin's Kettle-Cook'd potato chips from Pennsylvania, my favorite! If you don't mind driving a tiny bit out of the way, swing by Bob and Lisa's Produce stand (nice place) on S.C. 81, across from Total Fitness.

I don't know about the barbers in Easley, sorry.

I took my son (he has the teenage long hair style) to great cuts (or clips) in kmart plaza. They take walkins. I was pleased with what they did. There is hair masters in there too.
I second the Bob and Lisa's produce. I live that side of town so I go there but heard winslett is good too.
There is a butcher I was told to use on powdersville rd. Turn right at walgreens light. It is on the right near the bp.

Noodles,

Go to JJ and Company. Gina does my hair. Her cell phone number is 444-8537. Tell her that Sheri sent you! She is the best and has worked around my crazy schedule many times.

Great ideas, good input! thanks again everyone, ok now which seafood places on laurens rd are good? I stopped into one not too long ago(in a plaza with a thai restaurant) and it was pretty obvious they had pulled almost everything out of a freezer. I used to be a sushi chef so I know whats fresh and whats not. I think Key West seafood over there is good, but I wanted to know others opinions??

Also I'm still looking for that barber! I'm really sick of going to salons(even great clips, etc.), my haircut is easy and i'm not hard to please, I just want a good solid barber

I don't know if there is still on on Main St. or not but there used to be. There is one across from Old Vinland School Road. I don't know the name of it but it is an old fashioned men's barber shop. If you need, I can give you directions.

I have only been living in Easley for about a year and a half (came from miles away in new jersey) and I have the same problems finding these places. This was an excellent discussion. Easley is def. taking some getting used to. Most of the time I just travel to Greenville because I know I will find everything I am looking for....
