Move from nc to sc (Greenville, Spartanburg: neighborhood, best schools, live in)

My husband has just accepted a position in Spartanburg, SC. We currently live in Winston-Salem, but would be willing to move in a year or so. Could anyone recommend the area best suited for a Jewish family of four, best schools and with a decent commute to Spartanburg?

Gee, I sure wish I could help. We moved from W-S last year to Eastside Greenville. Don't have children and we're lapsed Baptists.

For what it's worth, while I miss my friends and longtime familiarity of W-S, our move has been quite good. We love our current neighborhood, and hubby has really enjoyed Riverside Tennis Club. We have found the area in general to be quite friendly and welcoming to newcomers.
