You better believe it. Pretty much all of the restaurants are open until at least 11pm-midnight. The bars are open way later of course. Some retail stays open that late but most close early especially on weekdays.

When I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, most of the Las Olas Blvd. stores stayed open until 9 pm, to catch the dinner crowd walking around after dining. Of course, there are lots of tourists in that area...

Been on Las Olas Blvd before  Use too live in florida a long time ago, Then moved back for like 3 months a couple years ago. But it cost too much to live there.

You're right. Property taxes are sky high and also homeowners' insurance. A fun place to live, though. We miss the So. FL weather, too.
