Question Hotels around Walhalla?

I am doing a craft show in Walhalla in October and I am having a hard time finding any hotels around that area. I don't really know what is close, even looking at a map I get lost I need one that is affordable, I found a couple in Clemson but the cheapest one is $150 a night..... I need something more like $50 a night, anyone have any suggestions? I could stay up to 30 minutes or so away, I just have no idea where that would put me. Thank you so much!

Try searching in Seneca. There are a handful of affordable hotels there and it is slightly closer to Walhalla than Clemson.

Does anyone know anything about the Oktoberfest? Almost every hotel in Seneca is booked, and all the other nearby towns as well, for the days of the Oktoberfest. I ended up finding one in a place called Westminster, they said on the phone it's about 10 minutes from Walhalla so I guess we got lucky, and it's only $60 per night! Yay!

You will love Westminster. A lot of apple trees there.

That's cool! When I found it I saw something saying it is home of the Aplle Festival, that sounds neat!

All the hotels are booked for that weekend because Clemson plays Wake Forest at home. As soon as Clemson releases their football schedule all the hotel rooms in the area are booked fast.

Staying in Westminister will help you avoid the 80,000 fans invading Clemson and Death Valley on gameday.

Wow, I did not know that! I am so glad now that we found a closer hotel! Does this mean the Oktoberfest will be dead or maybe busy, or would it not make a difference? Thanks!

Oktoberfest will be crowded regardless of the Clemson game, rainy weather is the biggest factor to hurt the crowd. See you there!

Cool, thanks for the video! And I sure hope it doesn't rain! I am 1/4 German, my Grandmother was German, so my Mother is going with me, I know she will really enjoy everything, though I think it is going to make us both miss my Grandmother a lot.
