Halfway to Habana, Greenville's premier cigar lounge, has gotten the go-ahead from the city to open up their new location overlooking the park. It will be complete with restaurant, bar, walk-in humidor and smoking lounge. It is expected to open for business in approximately 2 weeks. Be sure to visit and say hello to Paolo and Rudy! I myself can't wait to check it out.

Will they have a non-smoking bar area separate from the smoking lounge, or will the entire space be smoking? I realize that there are plenty of cigar aficionados who wouldn't mind the smoke, but I think they will appeal to more people if they also have a trendy bar that is non-smoking.

I can't answer that question for you, but when I find out I will post.

H2H will not have a designated non-smoking area. However, no cigarette smoking will be allowed. They will have very high ceilings and a powerful air filtering system.
I also learned that they are in the process of hiring about 20 people for the restaurant portion of the establishment and that they will be carrying a very unique selection of wines, bottled beers and spirits. That's about all I know at this time.

Default Halfwat to Habana

By the end of this month we will be open at our new location. We have many exciting surprises for you.
The chef, David Sparaccino, who trained in Brescia, Italy is wonderful. We can't wait for you to taste some of his wonderful dishes. See you soon!
