Hi all! Im from Australia and we are going on holidays to north and south carolina next year, mainly greenville as my son is an avid bmx rider. Could you tell me the things I should definatley do when I come to greenville. Also is it hard to find your way around? Will we be welcomed being from Australia? I have always wanted to come and now we have finally made an executive decision to go at the end of may. Any input would be greatly appreciated as there is nothing worse than going somewhere and not having a clue what to do. Also is camp woodward far from Greenville? Thanks heaps Guys!!!

In my experience, Americans love Aussies, and I am being totally serious when I say that. I've always said that Australians are like Americans with a British accent, and a much stronger love of beer!

Good day mate. I just had to say it. Oh and I have always wanted to go to the Great Barrier Reef and Sydney. Maybe someday I will.

You know I have actually never been to the great barrier reef. But Sydney is great!! Real busy. And I mean really busy. If you make it to Sydney make sure you go to Tarronga Zoo and the Sydney opera house. Maybe we can trade info on each others countries. Cheers

To our australian friends. I will be in greenville for the bmx games. I'm a family friend of one of the riders. I promised him the best burger of his life.
So if you care to join us you are welcome. I'm a former resident of australia of 35 years.

Right, mate! I think Greenvillians will welcome Australians although we are more accustomed to being friendly to international travelers than one might think. We have lots of international people living here and who have relocated here. I once saw a crowd of obviously Australian travellers at the Greenville Haywood Mall (shopping). The mall had not opened and they looked clearly bored waiting for it to open. I wanted to speak to all of them and welcome each one, but I had my little schedule and alas no time to converse.

But in the end, I am sure their needs were met and I hope they had a great time here.

Must sees of Greenville
- Falls Park / Liberty Bridge (Main Street area)
- Reedy River near Peace Center (catch a show if you can)
- BMW Zentrum (lots of BMW cars)
- Greenville Drive baseball game (Home | Greenville Drive Home)

lots more to see and explore but those are my top picks and I have been all over the world.
