FYI As of 2 weeks ago, children under 2 are admitted free to the Children's Museum! There are also some new exhibits.

No complaints here. When someone/something does the right thing, I give props. Baby Sonrise turns 2 in Nov. we better get over there asap. I imagine the pr hit they were taking wasn't worth the extra income. good for them listening to the public.

A step in the right direction. Now, if they would just add some better membership options or join the ACM for some reciprocal benefits, they'll start to entice me back from S'burg a little more often.

Also, their website does not reflect this change.

P.S. I realize they have the $2 for 2 hours on Thursdays, but coming from the Hub City, and being from 5-7 pm, fighting traffic at rush hour does not make this exceptionally appealing. Why not 1-3 pm?

The two hours must be right before closing to ensure that everyone entering the museum after 5:00pm and paying the $2 is only there for a maximum of two hours. It would not look good to have employees patrolling the venue in search of violators if the deal was scheduled earlier in the day. You pay the $2 for a maximum of two hours and that time expires at 7:00pm for everyone.

At least we know they are listening to their customers! this is a great start! hopefully they will start to offer some coupons or specials in the future other than this 2 hr thing, I don't really find the 5-7 thing appealing, and my nieces and nephews are over 2.

I wonder if they are even offering this $2 admission, as the winter hours have the Museum closing at 5pm. Does anyone know?
