I am on Tmobile's cellular service and I saw a old thread here but it was 2007. I have a 2 year contract but If I move to Greenville I am not sure how that would be handled. I love Tmobile so far, great customer service! Verizon dominates down here but Tmobile was not only cheaper but I like their service. You always get a American when you call for service which is always a big plus for me. I can understand them perfectly if you know what I mean.

I have no complaints with Verizon, but also have friends who are very happy with T-Mobile. After hearing about their service rates, I can understand why. If you do a quick Google search, you'll find several Upstate store locations. T-Mobile's website reveals similar results. If you perform a search under "coverage", you'll see that the Greenville area is mostly in the "best" coverage category for voice service.

I just recently even started seeing the "3G" symbol on my phone's screen, even though the coverage maps don't show it yet.

I have T-mobile and have no problem with the service. I drive all over the upstate and except for the very rural areas I have great coverage.
