That's what I was wondering. Makes no sense. Somebody must not have had their finances worked out or something.

That's the problem; lines out the door on weekends doesn't make up for almost a non existent customer base on the weekdays. Combine that with astronomical rent on Main Street; hence the closure. I'm afraid the same thing is gonna happen to Dickies BBQ in Greer, they're packed on Sundays after church, people literally out the door. The problem is they're absolutely dead the rest of the week.

That is too bad. They must have spent too much money on the relocation and renovations. I wonder if they would've done better just staying put in their original location less than a block away.

I don't think it's just that one location. I think the whole chain might have gone under. I say this because their website is down completely. If they were only closing one of their locations, the website would still be up. A new ice cream shop will be opening almost directly across the street soon. Hopefully it's just as good.

The Woodruff Road location is also closing. The sign outside says 10/24 will be the last day of operation.

It doesn't seem like they put up much of a fight to keep the business running. I haven't seen them advertise aggressively or pursue reservations for room rentals.

Very, very sad indeed. They were such a great local business. Hope something good goes in the spot at Falls Park REALLY soon!

It wasn't local. It was a chain. The entire chain is closing.

After going to Saturday Market, we walked down to stb for coffee and icecream today. They informed us that only the Woodruff Road store is closing.
