well friends i found a nice new place to eat up on brushy creek rd in greer, Helens kitchen, the food was fabulous today, they actually sold out of food, they said this way unheard of lately, and i was the last to leave today, yummy home cooked meals, the price was great, $8.95 for main course with 3 sides, bread choice, bev, and dessert, in my humble opinion it was well worth the $$, it tasted like a home cooked meal. thought you all might like to know.

Okay, I need more details. Can you give me some idea where on Brushy Creek Helen's Kitchen is located? I live in Greer and not far from Brushy Creek and have never seen or heard of this place. I live closer to Hudson Corners and suspect it's probably closer to downtown Greer.

Are you sure it's not in a little shopping center on Buncombe?

The Country Buffet on Wade hampton in Taylors is good, it's $6.95 for all you can eat country cooking. It includes iced tea, but you have to pay extra for soda. So if you're on a budget you get a lot of bang for your buck there. The only problem with them is they close a 8pm.
