Default Traveling to Pigeon forge from greenville
If anyone visited the pigeon forge/ Gatlinburg area lately could you please tell me what route did you take from Greenville?

I posted this question a week ago and was directed to the West NC page where I posted again. Two replies there suggested going 25 to Hot Springs.
I have decided on the Maggie Valley, Cherokee route for my wife to take tomorrow. Google map and my GPS both show that it will take 30-45 minutes longer than the I-40 route.

My wife and her friends called last night and said the trip to Pigeon Forge did take about 20-30 minutes longer than going by I-40. They had no problems and enjoyed the trip greatly. Hope this helps.
