Interesting that it shows Greenville in recovery, but cities such as New York still in recession. I guess the bloodbath in jobs that New York took with Wall Street and banking will take quite a bit of time to turn around.

The truth shall set you free!

Amazing how metros with supposedly more "job diversity" are still in recession, while Greenville is in recovery.

True, true.

Truth can set you free of trolls.
Truth can set you free of Columbia posters posing under assumed names and claiming they live or lived in Greenville.
Truth can help you check IP addresses of these trolls.

Truth is a great thing!

Truth lets us know Greenville is in recovery, and while still hurting, hurting no worse than all our peer cities.
Truth lets us love and believe in Greenville and work to make Greenville a better place. The fact Greenville can stir this passion in people, just simply drives some of the negative nellies over the edge. That is some TRUTH.

I always thought Greenville has alot of potential. Some of the smaller cities in the united states are doing good. Greenville is doing good and Augusta is doing even better.
Augusta's recovery expected before state's 011610 - The Augusta Chronicle

OK - I need to know.... What's going on in Augusta? What do they have there besides Augusta National and the Burn Center? What's drawing people and $$ there?

Of course it is, but I'm wondering why certain things are happening in what I thought was kind of a backwater. And since the poster is from Augusta.... I'm intrigued!

Well since G-man loves to post in the Augusta forum all the time. Whether its about Greenville's hotels, new construction, stats on the airport, retail, etc. I guess can answer one question about Augusta. Without getting to far off topic from the thread. Things in Augusta beside Doctor's Hospital burn center and Augusta National. Are a Medical District(MCG and University Hospitals) employing over 25,000 people, National Security Agency, Plant Vogtle, Fort Gordon, Savannah River Site, ADP, ESI, etc.
