It isn't necessary to have roots in a "fundamentalist" church to study and know the Word of God. It doesn't take a "fire-and-brimstone" sermon to discover the wickedness of sin and the ultimate consequence of willfully living in sin. Likewise, it doesn't take a sermon devoid of biblical condemnation to understand and experience the incredible love, joy, and peace given to sincere followers of Christ, no matter what their status in life may be.
