Nice photos, Janrey! Thanks for the link to your gallery. How do you like your camera now?
Thanks to everyone for the kind compliments. I hope these photos will help you decide to visit Greenville someday soon!
Below are a couple cold winter night shots:
This is part of Court Square:
This is The Terrace at RiverPlace, a brand new mixed-use building along the riverwalk and Reedy River. I thought the "Bounce" (ad agency) sign was pretty cool:
This was formerly the under-utilized City Hall Plaza, currently under construction to become a mixed-use building with a Marriott hotel, offices, retail, and new plaza:

The Luna Rosa gelato place is great! Went the other day, and it was the first time I've had gelato. I guess it's essentially ice cream, but so much better (and healthier, so I've heard).

I love my camera. If you didn't look, take a look at the recent trip to Las Vegas/Grand Canyon. Though I'll never compare to you I was amazed at the zoom on this camera. I took pictures of the Colorado River from the top of the Canyon and they looked like I was just a few feet above.

These photos of Greenville are amazing! The downtown area looks so green and lush, and just plain perfect. I can see myself strolling along with the dogs and a cup of coffee.
I wish it wasn't a 10 hour drive from MI. This is exactly the type of town I'd love to live in someday. I'm not sure the pets could handle that long of a trip though. Not to mention my wallet for all that gas!
Grrrr, why can't Greenville be closer? lol
