It has been a long while since my last contribution, so here is one with a construction update in the background. The building will be the new hotel and mixed-use office building with a city plaza. I can imagine at least some performers and stage hands staying there while visiting town on tour.

I live here in the Greenville area but am not sure where this trail is. Can someone tell me? Is this the trail that runs through Cleveland Park and into Falls Park?

If it helps it runs along the river behind the YMCA and and First Baptist (both on Cleveland St). There are also signs throughout Cleveland and Falls Park pointing towards the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Is this a trail that goes on for several miles or is it a very short trail. It looks very nice in the pictures?

It will run from Furman through downtown Greenville to Lake Conestee when complete. 17 miles I think. The first part from Furman to Greenville Tech will be completed sometime in 2009. The whole project will be complete by 2012.
