Is fall a good time to visit?

Wonderful pictures!  Now I have a better idea of what to expect when I visit in the fall. Is there alot going on during that time of year for us to do? Any suggestions?

Leaf lookers will be all around the mountain areas north of Greenville. If you are here Oct 12-14 - Fall For Greenville is a popular weekend in downtown Greenville.

I just looked at the pics on the Fall For Greenville site - are they trying to keep people away? There is actually a pic of a meeting. Anyone have some real pics of Fall For Greenville? RT? Skyliner?
