Smile Lots of Random Downtown Photos For Your Enjoyment!

Hi everyone! I know it is hard to get a feel for a place without being there in person, but sometimes photos can help give a better idea of what to expect. While I have many photos stored online, I'll start with the ones I shot yesterday morning and late afternoon. Sunday mornings typically are the quietest moments to enjoy downtown if you prefer more serenity. At any rate, enjoy these, add your own if you want to, or any comments or questions you have.

Greenville and Charlotte are approximately 90 miles apart, which equals about a one to one and a half hour drive (1 - 1 1/2).

Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures. My sister-in-law moved to the area last summer and I can't wait to visit. Greenville looks like a wonderful city and a great place to live!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Here are more from Sunday morning for your enjoyment:

Here is an artistically enhanced shot from late Sunday afternoon in Falls Park on the Reedy. There was a skit being performed prior to the Shakespeare in the Park performance by The Upstate Shakespeare Festival. These events are simply unforgettable:

Try the Hampton Inn and Suites at RiverPlace, the Hyatt Regency, or Holiday Inn Express, each located in downtown. Another suggestion nearby would be the Hilton on Haywood Road, just off of I-385.
