Visiting Greenville(ME TOO!)
I also will be visiting the area this coming weekend(the 3rd-the 6th) and was wondering what some of the MUST SEE attractions are, on Sunday we will probably just be bumming around the city looking at what it has to offer(and I will also be dropping off resume's . Anyway give me some ideas on some fun stuff to do???
I should mention we are also looking at homes to rent that week, but I have that part mostly covered. we are definitely moving there sometime near the end of June and we are getting very excited as this is our first big move together and Greenville looks like such a great town!

The best time to visit the ballpark would be on Friday evening since there may be a fantastic fireworks display after the game (am I right RT?). I also highly recommend the free Shakespeare in the Park performances of King Lear in Falls Park on the Reedy.

No problem...just trying to cover the bases and give you lots of options. I did also try to prioritize the order somewhat, considering the amount of time you'll have.
As for the ballgames, yes - Friday is the best time to go if you're lucky enough to be in town on a Friday evening during a home stand. You can almost always get tickets...they may not be reserved ($6.50) or box ($8.00) seating, but you can sit on the lawn or deck for $5. Sunday's game should be a 4:00pm start, if you're nearby.

You can now buy tickets for Greenville Drive games on their website and print them at home. Before, you would have to pick them up at will call at the ballpark when you would buy them off the website.

It's not always so easy to get Drive tickets! I'm lucky that my dad has season tickets, but just the other week a friend of mine went to get tickets for a game nearly a week later, and they were told the game was sold out.
But...yes, you should usually be able to get tickets though you may want to stop by and get them earlier that day.
Other than that, definitely walk up and down Main St. and check out Falls Park. You'll be able to find some good food as well...try anything and you will probably be pleased!
And of course you can never go wrong with Subway, there are 2 on Main St! haha.

The BOX and RESERVED seats may have been sold out; however, there are almost ALWAYS "lawn and deck" tickets (standing room only, basically). The capacity is 5700; however, I've been in the place with 6700+ a couple of times.
