Break on the Lake is a new restaurant located on Lake Greenwood about 10 minutes from Greenwood right off highway 72.

The burgers and shrimp are great. It has a view of the lake and a dock for boaters.

Something big is being built next to Lidl on Wade Hampton. Unfortunately, the ugly building that used to be Belgian Delights and the 1980's style Taco Bell are still there.

Hotel. I’m guessing Taco Bell will want to rebuild using their newer design at some point.

Wow, really? What brand? And yes, that TB, closed Belgian delights and weird 1990's bike shop are eyesores.

The 1.8 acres was recently purchased by "Taylors Hotel Group LLC" (phc-hotels.com). This would be developed by Ricky Patel with the Paragon Hotel Company. This is their current portfolio: Portfolio | Paragon Hotel Company

I don’t believe it has been announced yet what brand it will be.

Nice. Now...if we could only tear down the dumpy Taco Bell, old Schlotzky's/Deli/Belgian place, and the super old Bank/motorsports building - that strip would look halfway decent
