I meant you or her.

You can only tell so much about a place when you're researching it on line, and on line Greenville seems too good to be true...
I'm looking forward to my first trip out there hopefully by the end of the year and I do appreciate the honest feedback of other posters.

I lived in Charleston for 18 years and then moved to Greenville after college. I have to say that I appreciate each and every day here because I just can't really believe how awesome a city it is. Just when you think you know all there is to appreciate about this city, you find something else to love.
The people are great, it's a pet-friendly, family-friendly environment. There is plenty of unique restaurants and shops in the Downtown area. There is plenty of affordable real estate if you want to make it your permanent home, and you will never be short of something to do on the weekend. If you like running, there are plenty of trails and parks etc, which can be good for those of you with children. All of the bars are smoke-free, although that is more common for many cities these days. The list goes on and on.
The only thing I regret is not moving here sooner.

Really nice post. As regards your last sentence, I felt the same, once I found Greenville.
