I just read the article in “City People” part of the Greenville News and think this is an awesome event and a TERRIFIC cause! I volunteer at Pendleton Place and it is a wonderful place and those children deserve every bit of help they can get. Pendleton Place takes care of infants-teenagers and not only can use everyone’s help with donating thru this event but could also use clothes and toy donations as well. I started a clothing/toy drive in my community to donate to Pendleton Place and believe me these kids can use it. Job well done to Roberta Shaughnessy and all involved with this fund raiser!

Yeah, I thought the same thing......but the idea was to draw adults willing to donate $. Personally I would skip the "After Party" at the smoke shop if I attend.....But the fund raiser is admirable and the cause is a worthy one.

There will no smoking allowed inside the beautiful Poinsett Club. The patio will be available for those who choose to smoke at the event.
