Sorry to hear about your mother. Sorry to hear about your life! Things could be worse, your mother's estate could have no money and you wouldn't have the house to live in. At least you get to go overseas! Sushi...yuck. At least you have family to go to even if you do feel like "the lost lamb". Things could be a lot worse, dear.

Whatever you do next Tuesday, be thankful for what you do have.

I refuse to deal with my father's work dog (a rather stupid labrador). It was brought in in violation of...everything. (my own dog Jack, a Siberian husky, is quite well trained). There are 2 dogs now, sorry for ambiguity.

The finances are not unlimited, and I will be forced out of the house soon enough by the tax burden. It's a dilapidated "builder's special." My grandfather (maternal) got my mom to sign (within 3 days of her death) a document which put the house into a trust (this isn't Windsor castle, by any means), which means my sister and I can't touch it till 2017. My uncle is the trustee. All it did was hamstring all parties. My sister and I are being bled dry. My father is taking full advantage. And my uncle is hesitant to move forward.

It's 3:10 Christmas morning now and I survived it! I watched "Peggy Sue Got Married" and "The Majestic". Those kept me entertained and my mind off everything. Having a drink of that "special" eggnog I wrote about before and letting the puter get me more tired.

When I wake up, going to have a nice cup of tea and a slice of apple cinnamon spice cake. Yum. Of course I'll check in here and then go watch some of my recordings until I go to dinner.

I may wake up to a White Christmas! That'll be pretty.

Good night, sweet dreams and a Peaceful day tomorrow.
