Me too. Thanks for posting updates for us.

Latest update:

"Good morning, update last night for Christal.
She had 1 spike last night that she had to have a salt balm for, all of her vitals are good. No plan for the day but resting and healing. The ICU team hasn't been by yet today, but from what the neurologist said yesterday, the next 6 days they aren't trying anything. 1 spike last night is awesome compared to Yesterday night when she had 3. I will update everyone tonight unless there is a major change

*faith, prayer and miracles*"

Hi every one please keep the healing beams of light, prayers, Guardian Angels, meditations and thoughts going for my friend.

This is todays update from her sister:

"Friday update. So they are weaning Christal off the sedation sooner than expected. Last night they did a trial, and she did good. So today through out the day they will slowly lower it. Also she has surgery scheduled for Monday for her tracheostomy and her PEG ( feeding tube going straight in to her stomach). This means no more tubes down her nose and it lessens the risk of vocal cord damage. So now with the sedation being lifted we wait and see... Prayers that this beautiful momma wakes up and knows her babies.
*faith, prayers and miracles* "

Thank you all so much.

OP I have just now read through this thread and am sending my prayers to add to all the others here...please do keep us all updated on your friend's condition. It's already miraculous that she has come this far when it looked so dire in the beginning.

Sounds like they did the trachea and feeding tube late yesterday.

"Saturday update on Christal: She has been stable through the night. They had to give her a salt balm this morning to calm her ICP's. She is on about Half of the sedation she has been on. Her ICP levels have been elevated since last night but she's doing pretty good controlling them herself. Some of you already know they did her trachea late yesterday afternoon and did a peg for her feeding. Both procedures were very successful. Today is another rest day and they are very slowly weaning the sedation.

*faith, prayers and miracles*"
