I got a call yesterday from my aunt on my mom's side. My mom had asked her in January right after she was diagnosed with cancer to embroider some dish towels for me with designs she had picked out. Anyway she had asked her to send them to me for my birthday which is coming up this month. So this will be the last birthday present from my mom. How bittersweet! I have been a mess since she called. I am so blessed.

I cried when I read your post. I lost my mom 5 1/2 years ago and I know how hard it is. Sending you a big hug and a Happy Birthday!
