Good Morning cyn and friends.....may the day ahead contain a blessing for each of us, and may we recognize it.

Good morning cyn and friends.

It is sad that the time has come for you to move to a new thread. Your old friends and new ones will be here for the next leg of your journey.

Hugs to you.

I'm finally done mowing. It does keep me busy but I am so tired.....
Thank you all for your lovely posts. I enjoy reading them all. Today has been just another up and down day but I guess that is to be expected. I am going to a woman's group at the church I visited last Sunday. I'm really tired and thought of not going but I know it will do me good so I'm making myself.
Time to jump in the shower..again, thank you all so much--the support is priceless!

I am proud of you and the determined way you are facing the challenges and trials of your life.

I think going to the women's group at church sounds like "just what the doctor ordered"....although being tired from the yard work would make it justifiably easy to say......'not this week'. But do go and let us know how it feels.

There are others who are trying to build meaningful lives after tragic losses.....and you may not know it but you are a wonderful role model. (Theme music of "You are the wind beneath their wings".)

Thank you elston once again for the vote of confidence but as you said I am very tired and it would be quite easy for me to turn tonight down but I have already accepted......and will go....but it would have been so easy to say no.
I suppose I am just very tired but my emotions are really working overtime this afternoon. Hospice came by and picked us several items they can use that were my DH's, then they called to tell me they have Sept 30th set up for the little memorial we are having in their garden. Just lots to think about. I feel myself falling into that sad place so I need to shake it off and feed my critters and think about something happy. All of my blessings are a happy thought!

It was good to get out last night. It rained the whole time we were there and we didn't get home until after 9PM--I was so tired. I met several other women but no one else was grieving...still a good meeting. Again I am not sure it was right for me. But I will keep looking around. I think right now that is my best bet until I find the place that feels just right and around here there are lots of choices. I do believe I need to find a group of other people who have lost someone--like what Hospice is offering. I just think they only meet once a month and right now I need more then that. They do have a one on one counseling which I will get set up today. I sold the one wheelchair online so that was a boost to my confidence and checkbook! The buyer is having it shipped and has already paid for it and thrilled to get it but the person picking it up won't be here for a couple of weeks. He asked if that would be okay--I told him no problem I was just happy he found what he needed! It's going to MO. I wish I could have just donated the wheelchairs but as my daughter told me--at least get back the money you invested in them.
I am so sore from mowing but I suppose my body will get use to it. It rained all night so I can't do the dogs yard until the grass dries out so maybe tomorrow. That's okay, I need a break!
I woke up with my emotions feeling pretty shaky again. I sure will be happier when I can work through this a little better. It's such and up and down thing.
I'm feeling those hugs---thanks!
