Not sure yet when I start--maybe tomorrow but I am hoping Wed. because I have a Hospice picnic to go to and my girlfriend is coming over from Salisbury to go with me. We use to work together at the spay neuter rescue. Not sure if I will start out at 10 hour days or not---really don't know much yet--am waiting for his call. I forgot to ask anything! Ha!
I believe the cafe is open 5:30am to 2pm and then of course there is clean up. So from my understanding the hours in the cafe for workers is 5am to 3pm. Since I only live 5 minutes away at least I won't be spending any time going to and from work!
I got a job! The small store in my tiny town that has a tiny cafe inside called me so I went in and talked to the owner. He hired me to run the cash register in the cafe side to start with. Then I may also do some cooking and serving but since there is only 4 small booths that hold a max of 4 people each it doesn't seem like it would be very difficult--but it has been many years since I've done anything like this. I guess once I get that down I can rotate to the store. Not sure yet what all is involved. I do know I have to be there at 6am. My DH and I use to eat there sometimes! It's only 2 1/2 miles from my house. The owner, my boss, lives right down the street from me! Ha! I am scared but once I get the hang of it I should be okay.

I am doing OK for the most part Cyn. I have realized one thing. Whatever I dream of may never come true. When things are not in my control, it doesnt matter how much I worry, things will be the same.
I started praying. I use to pray before. I started again.
