Yes, worry burns calories. One pound lost means only a little worrying.

I worry about everything--no wonder I have trouble keeping weight on!
Heavy fog this morning with rain in the mix....my animals are getting real tired of it--me too! Work tonight...hope the rain slows down by then. The deer are everywhere right now...

Wish I would lose another 20 pounds at the least. My BMI is about 27, shouldn't be over 25 - for me that's around 210 pounds, I'd be skinny at that weight. Guess that's how we are supposed to be, lean and hungry.

Seems bereavement isn't burning many calories for me, but it is another form of worry, I think.

Off to a bird walk shortly, no rain here.

I have been blessed.....I called my vet this morning to ask about Whitey and getting another shot as once again his mouth is bothering him and I also asked why it was $20.00 more last visit--I told him I didn't want to sound ungrateful and I know he does me favors all the time but I was curious and since my chiropractor visits are now weekly I am really watching every penny---he said he used a new medication last time but that an Angel stopped by and I no longer have to pay for Whiteys visits....I know it was my neighbor that has ALS and I helped out last week. I couldn't believe it.....I am so blessed. They have been my angels since we moved here. God sure did now where I need to be! I am amazed constantly by the goodness of people and of course God!

Wonderful !! I bet you are not the only one, you happen to have a vet with a good business and the good heart to help animals and people with financial stress. Sounds like you've been a good customer and he feels it is time to help you - if I read correctly, Whitey is old and he is getting some private-medicaid : )

Actually Jerry, the vet himself may be helping out too but it is my neighbor who is taking care of Whitey's vet bill. They already know my feelings about my pets and how they are all I have and would go without myself to make sure they are taken care of. I believe the whole family contributed to Whitey's vet fund! The vet has got to be doing his part too so they are all Angels in my book!

Great, you have friends because you are a friend, goes around comes around... I didn't read carefully. I took the "angel" to be a figure of speech and skipped over the rest of your post. In any case I hope all doctors practice some giving to those needing help. Yes, they worked hard to get the education and deserve a quality income, I don't suggest otherwise.

Cyn.....you are blessed with good neighbors and friends. I know that you thought you left those angels behind you in CA when you moved......but you attract the angels where ever you are....like flowers attract honey bees. You are both blessed and a blessing.
