These are my thoughts "If your dream were my dream....I would think...."

You identified to your new friend that your grief was tied up in ."Not knowing who you are". The voice was calling you by your given name....not a nickname, not your DH name or Your father's name....your full first name......on the night following your visit with your friend.....in which you repeatedly explained the feeling of not knowing who you are.

I think the dream voice is reminding you of your identity....by your first name.....your singular identity. I think it reminds you that you are a whole person as you move forward. I would see it as an affirmation of self....of competence....of suffiency. You are whole and dont need anyone....but also you are free to choose any path.

Thats my take on your dream.

Well Dude---while that is a lovely thought--it would mean his voice got very high and he called me by a name he never had called me by before...we will never know.....

We are getting rain too.....much needed I might add. I started over to my garden to check on things....but it kept raining harder and harder...so I took an alternate route home. I shut off the AC and opened the sliders to let fresh air into the house. I wish you all a good day.

Another restless nights sleep...yawn....wish I could just sleep more then 5-6 hours. I really thought I would because last night the one girl and I had a shipment come in and we had to stock it all...lots of work and I was very tired! Today is the "big" shipment day so maybe tonight I will sleep. It's raining and looks like it will rain the rest of the week. We need it but my critters are not impressed! Time to get myself ready for work...have a blessed day!

We had a huge thunder and lightning storm last night. Two of my doggies are afraid of storms....so I was up for a couple hours around 1:30 on. I did finally get back to sleep around 3.

Poor babies! I always feel so badly for them when they are so frightened. I'm glad you were there to keep them feeling better! I'm sorry your sleep was not great--I know the feeling!
