I need to make sure I am eating enough vegetable....especially dark green leafy veggies.
I eat steak once in a while, and I love asparagus. It's green and it's a vegetable.

Good morning everyone. Looks like the storm has passed. We got plenty of rain and thunder and lightening. I was pretty stressed after getting home yesterday so after feeding the animals and walking the dogs I went to bed for a nap and didn't wake up until 8pm. I got up long enough to give the dogs a quick walk--still raining at that time--and went back to bed. Didn't really sleep but dozed off and on the rest of the night. Weird night!
My surgery date it Sept. 21st and then I am suppose to be off work a couple of days and then on light duty---not sure but I think I have been on light duty with my torn rotator cuffs...we'll see. I can't afford to miss much time from work and if it means keeping my job I'll do heavier work if necessary. I think my boss will just keep me on the register though...I hope.
Have a blessed day everyone!

Good Morning cyn........I was wondering about your surgery...is it for the torn rotator cuff? Hope that it all goes smoothly.

My guy asked if I wanted to go out for supper tonight.....he wants to go to one of our favorite places....the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Ft Myers, The Farmers Market Restaurant (since 1952) it is a real "down home southern style" eatery.....with a decidedly southern menu.....including outrageous pies. He will be ordering the fried chicken....(they know how to do chicken!)....and I think I will get the 5 vegetable plate with corn bread. (collards, corn fritters, fried green tomatoes, mashed taters and gravy and steamed cabbage). I think. "Put the taste of the south in your mouth"

I wish elston, but my tron rotator cuffs (on each shoulder) would be more of a luxury then a necessity at this time sadly. This is painful hemorrhoids that need to be removed.
This is such a hard time for me...seems like it's always something. But others have it so much worse I just have to stay thankful for the good things.
Today is Church. Hope everyone has a blessed day!

cyn....when is the surgery scheduled......will it require you to stay over night at the hospital? Have you told your minister....perhaps the congregation can help out with food, cards, visits. What about your work?
