I am glad that my post triggered others to comment and share with cyn. Grasshopper.....I think sharing your perspective was wonderful. (I was afraid that my post might have been upsetting or sound negative or critical....it wasnt meant in that way!)

I didn't interpret you post to be critical, elston, just realistic. Thanks.

Thank You Grasshopper. I have been posting almost daily for the past 4 years......and I just wanted to be sure that I "said something" more than platitudes.

Today is church.
Like you Grasshopper--on the outside I probably appear to be fine but it's inside where I keep most of my pain. This is where I come to share my pain and fears. My energy level is low as well. I feel good to get one room clean instead of the entire house like I use to do. But hopefully with each day things will continue to improve. I woke up at 2:30am and have been awake since...today will be a long day! Lots on my mind I guess.
Everyone have a blessed day!

That's great elston. I go through those feelings with my church sometimes and then on days like yesterday at Sunday school I love it!
I did get more sleep last night but still pretty restless. It's worry over preparation for this upcoming surgery--like getting the animals fed and walked before I go---just hope the surgery isn't to early. I call the day before--that seems odd to me. Would be nice to know a little ahead of time. Oh well worry never helps.....
Have a blessed day everyone!

Elston, I too don't participate a lot. For different reasons than Cyn and her situation.

Thank you! That really hit home..

Cyn, there is no right way, time tested way to grieve.
We just do and then one day it like you were in a dark room and the curtains were raised. It happens.... You feel different, and that's just the way it happens..

Just keep living, time marches on with or without care of our deep sorrows, regrets and our most joyous life changing experiences. Just remember while we're on planet earth enjoy what your doing while you can..

I guess I'm rambling... Anyway! Take care of you and best wishes for a speedy recovery...

Stephanie
