Well.............the first day of January, 2017 has come and will soon be done. I really loved my Friends Meeting this morning; I had missed last Sunday because my son and gd. were coming for the week. I was sorry to miss meeting and realize how much I love and miss my meeting when I dont attend. I feel re-charged now.

We had a "pot luck" after meeting...which is a nice chance to connect with other Friends.

I havent joined the meeting ........... but am thinking that in the future I probably will, altho there is no pressure to do so....and my "attendee" status might be best for now. I am so comfortable in the silence of the meeting....I really can't imagine going back to a regular church service.

Sounds like it is perfect for you elston. A great way to start the new year!
It's pouring rain here but still not really to cold--that is coming at the end of the week. Ugh!
Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Good Morning Everyone.

Elkotronics.......I know that you are taking your examination this Wednesday....so you are in the final crunch for preparation. I would suggest that you take a break on Tuesday.......at this point you either know it or you don't. I feel pretty confident that you do. Try to get some rest and to relax so you can do your best.

Cyn I hope that you have "a lovely day" also; and that Bubu continues to improve.

Thanks Dude111.

Good Morning all.

I woke up early (3 30) and got up. I had skipped my PT exercises last evening and was feeling guilty and since I have PT scheduled for this morning......I didnt want to have to answer for not doing them. LOL guilt is a powerful motivator.

So I am up...and stretched.....but not raring to go.

Good morning everyone! I actually got a decent nights sleep--yes! I do think the temperatures play a part! My room is not heated except with a portable heater which I rarely use...those things eat the electricity!
I know how you feel elston...I am suppose to be doing PT here at home and have not! The bands will not stay on they kind of door nobs I have so instead of figuring out a way to make them work I just haven't done any exercises...bad. When I fell over that pallet it hurt me and exercising just wasn't going to happen but now I do need to get started! Like you...not raring to do it! Smile.
Dude, you always are lifting up others--thank you!
Elko, I agree with elston, a day of rest will do more then going over what you probably already know. We're all pulling for you my friend!
Have a blessed day all!

Thank You for the good wishes Dude.

Today is a health centered day for me. I have PT session mid day and then this afternoon I see the orthopedic surgeon for the first time. Previously I have seen the Physcians assistant and gotten a shot into the knee...(which helped for awhile)......and started a regimen of Physical Therapy 2 weekly in their office and twice daily at home......on my own. It is tough to fit the afternoon routine at home....when I am tired and am trying to feed the dogs, start supper and relax...BUT it must be done....it really should be my priority. My muscles are so weakened because over the year....I have been less and less active and have been trying to minimize knee pain......by adjusting my gait etc......at this point I am really unsafe if I am not using a cane.

I am expecting the Dr. will be talking about surgery and scheduling it. I am thinking this spring after my spouse gets back from a tennis trip to Arizona. I am also thinking about post hospitalization.....and the option of a rehab setting for post op care. Also.....after the "snow birds" go home....the dr and hospitals time should be more available.

Have a good day.
