I'm basically doing it for Joyce.... I figure I owe her a little fun time too. Although this town is not a real fun town. We got a 1000 piece *** saw puzzle to do so that should help occupy us.

Good morning everyone!
Joyce and I have been taking several drives around the area just to get out and keep sane! It's so cold and no warming during the day much so that is hard too.
Not sure about today since everything is closed but we can still take another drive. Hope it didn't freeze at your place elston and thanks for letting us know how you are doing elko.
Have a blessed day everyone.

Same with us, cyn, it's cold all day and all night, and it's dark early! Seahawks play their last game of the regular season today against the Arizona Cardinals. Go Seahawk's! If the Seahawk's win and Atlanta loses at home against Carolina, the Seahawk's go to the playoffs.

Everyone enjoy your Sunday's!

I have only left the house once since Christmas day. Definitely planning to be more "social" in 2018, once the holiday hoopla is completely finished. We might even go see a movie next week, if anything good is playing. Maybe the Star Wars one? Not a huge fan, but the special effects always look good on the big screen.

I hope everyone has a great New Years eve and day, doing whatever it is that makes you happy.
Happy New Years Day to you and yours elko.

And may 2018 be a good and happy year, for you and all who stop by on this the first day of the year.

If I can copy a cartoon and to add a little levity, this is how I spent my holiday weekend... I went to the ER Saturday at 4:00 am, with a gallbladder flairup, thinking they would take it out. I already had had an ultrasound with my butts and guts doctor. The attending wanted his own test, so I was in the hospital until today. I think I should have my picture in the paper as the first gallbladder “born” in 2018.

Are you scheduled for the surgery?

Oh gentlearts, I am so sorry ! Hope you are now on the road to recovery!
Getting tired of this cold...will be happy to see it warm up! I feel so bad for Joyce walking my dogs in the morning I am considering at least going with her. I can use the exercise but not sure if the cold will make my shoulder ache. Maybe later in the day would be better although it only warms up to the low 30's in the day time.
Stay safe and warm---have a blesses say.

No, I had it finally at 7:00 am, New Years Day, and came home in the afternoon. Mending nicely. They say today will be the most painful day.
